Today’s Tea: A Trip Down Memory Lane

Ahhhh, the scent of a good tea brewing...and a day off! Laundry is in, dishes are running (as is the dog), and best of all - I am writing this from the comfort of fleece jammies on a cool winter day.

A stern breeze has the trees bending and waving as if to say "Hi there! C'mon out and play!" I don't know about you, but for some reason windy days have always made me feel alive, energetic, and ready to conquer the world. Some of my favorite memories as a young child are gazing out at the trees, or joining them and swaying on a tire swing for hours (as I pretended it was a horse, or that I was Laura Ingalls Wilder running down a hill of wildflowers, lol.)

Sipping my tea a blend of "Awake" and Ginger (recipe? what recipe? just add a drop of ginger oil to your favorite tea) and reminiscing makes me want to get out there and play! I think I will...or, at least run. That's playing, right? 🙂 And hey, if I go a little too hard at least I know where to find a good cup of ginger tea when I'm through!
